On my website we will be learning about rotations, reflections, and translations. This is something really easy to learn and you should not have a problem learning it.
1. Verify experimentally the properties of rotations, reflections, and translations:
A. Lines are taken to lines, and line segments to line segments of the same length.
B. Angles are taken to angles of the same measure.
C. Parallel lines are taken to parallel lines.
Rotation- an operation that rotates a geometric figure about a fixed point.
Reflection- the act of reflecting or the state of being reflected.
Translation- Moving a shape, without rotating or flipping it. "Sliding",
The shape still looks exactly the same, just in a different place.
